The View is a hidden gem!

The current owners took over The View (at the time called “The Bay Bistro”) in late summer 2022, They hope you join them as they work towards building one of the best little cafe, bar and kitchen venues in Wales.

The aim is to use as much fresh local produce as possible, including their own restaurant herb garden, which has increased in size this year. There is a push try to reduce food waste and a reduction in single use plastic packaging. Supporting staff wellbeing is a priority.

As part of the goal, there will be investment in the accessibility of the restaurant as its important that everyone to feel welcome and enjoy their experience.

The View is adjacent to the path to Rhossili beach (one of Conde Naste’s “Top 10 beaches in the World”) and directly opposite the Rhossili National Trust Car Park.

The frontage is a small cliff-top cottage, which includes a small gift shop or ice cream parlour. The real magic happens If you venture around the side of the building where you will find a relaxed cafe bar and kitchen, with stunning views from inside (heated by a cosy log burner in the winter) and ou (if you prefer to eat al-fresco and listen to the waves). In fact, we offer some of the best views in Wales, with the sweep of Rhossili beach leading around to the Loughour Estuary and all the way to the Pembrokeshire coast as far as Caldey Island on a clear day.
